Ashley Tilley

After spending 10+ years in the corporate world of marketing and communications, freelancer and consultant Ashley Tilley yearned for the freedom and flexibility of running her own business.

In 2019, she successfully landed a contract with a former employer to manage their marketing and communications as a consultant – and thus NFP Communications was born. 

​

NFP Communications is a marketing and communications consultancy that aims to help the not-for-profit sector with its marketing and communications needs. Services range from digital marketing to event management to public relations. 

​

Although Ashley has spent time working in a diverse range of industries, her true passion is for the non-profit world, where she has almost a decade of direct experience. As a result, she chose to focus on clients within this industry.

​

Leveraging her existing corporate experience and network has led to a successful business, and NFP Communications has worked with a number of key clients, including the Canadian Mental Health Association. 

Since 2019, Ashley has had two children and is now balancing running a business while raising two kids. While it can be challenging, she loves the freedom of being able to work her own hours and reduce her workload if need be.
